    Social Chase FUN "Free to Be Me" Event for the neurodivergent/autism community ages 15-35 at the Crystal Bees Amusement Center in Southington.

    The fee is only $10 which includes bowling shoes, pizza and soda (I know it is morning time), and game play (no prizes). Financial Assistance is available. We don't want money to stop anyone from participating. Siblings are welcomed.
    Parents are welcomed to bowl for $10 (no game card). Parents will have their own bowling lanes to allow the Social Chasers to have fun with their peers.
    Sorry no child under the age 15 is allowed.

    The Social Chase will have a "Free To Be Me" Event at the Brass City Raceway. We will have the venue to ourselves from 6 pm to 8 pm. We need 10 people to register. The Social Chaser fee is $20 (a savings of $24) Remember, parents must stay with the Social Chaser and if a parent wants to race, the cost is $30. Note: If you live independently, a parent does not have to accompany you.

    Upon payment, you will receive the registration form for the Raceway to fill out. Limited spaces, first come, first served!

    Payment in advance is REQUIRED to ensure your spot. Since some parents want various payment methods, please register with the correct RSVP with payment.

    I mentioned earlier in the year that I was working on an Autism Artist display at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury. Its' official and you can now submit your artwork for consideration. Connecticut Residents please.
    We have two age groups:
    Ages 8-15
    Ages 16+

    Submission Opportunity for Upcoming Exhibition:
    Join The Social Chase in celebrating the work of artists on the autism spectrum in the exhibition Free to Be. Art submissions for the exhibition are accepted only via the form below through June 30, 2024. If accepted, participants will have their work on view at the Mattatuck Museum from September 6 – November 2, 2024.

    The gallery, located on the Museum’s 3rd floor, displays works of art and cultural history objects from programs sponsored by schools, community organizations and/or artist groups in Waterbury and the surrounding towns in central and western Connecticut. The Museum is dedicated to serving, enriching, and celebrating the arts, culture, history and education system of our local and regional communities.

  • Jumpin' Great Time - August 2024

    Sun, Moon & Stars is excited to continue our collaborations with Extreme Air and The Social Chase, Inc

    Jumpin' Great Time will have TWO time slots for our jumpers:

    6:00 to 7:00 - Littles (Ages 4 to 15)

    7:00 to 8:00 - Bigs (Ages 16 and up)

    Extreme Air will be closed to the general public at this time. We considered this a judgement free time for our community to have some fun. Capacity is limited to (50 jumpers) for the Littles and (30) for the Bigs.

    Registration is required, with a fee of $10.00 per jumper, siblings included. This event is not a drop-off; parents or caregivers must be present at all times. We strictly adhere to age groups for each time slot. Please note, walk-ins are not allowed.

    Snacks and Drinks will be available in Party Room (2) for the Littles and Party Room (3) for the Bigs. We will have signs for each group.

    We ask that all guests arrive 15 minutes early to begin promptly jumping at either 6:00 or 7:00. Our Bigs can arrive a bit earlier to enjoy some snacks and drinks and our Littles can stay a bit later to also enjoy snacks and drinks.

    Join us for Mardi Gras, An Evening Out With Sun, Moon & Stars!

    Our annual gala and fundraiser funds 75% of Sun, Moon & Stars operations and makes it possible to serve dozens of autism families each year.

    We are over the MOON to have Sarah Cody, of News 8, as our Master of Ceremony.

    Enjoy a cocktail party reception with a New Orleans flair that includes: pasta, hot and cold appetizers, dessert and coffee.

    Each guest will receive (1) drink ticket for beer or wine and the full bar will feature a special cocktail for purchase.

    More than 100 chance drawing items will be available. Ticket sheets are $20 per sheet of 25 tickets. Cash, check or Venmo accepted.

    Tickets are $45 each or Tables of 10 seats at $400 each.
